The Next Chapter
A Vision for Future Generations
Ar-Rayyan Education & Community Centre • Pemba, Zanzibar
Ar-Rayyan Foundation currently supports existing madrasas across Pemba, Tanzania. This vision is different.
It is the aspiration to establish a permanent Islamic Education & Community Centre rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah — creating a place where children can learn the Qur'an, study Islam and grow within a safe and nurturing Islamic environment.
The first phase is the establishment of a Day Madrasah and Community Centre. In time, by the permission of Allah, the aspiration is to expand into a full boarding madrasah, providing orphaned and vulnerable children with stability, Islamic education and positive guidance within an environment centred upon faith and knowledge.
Rather than simply constructing a building, this vision seeks to establish a permanent place where education, worship and community can continue serving generations long into the future.
